As Vultures reflects on a successful 2025, we are excited to share what we have been building and what is ahead. This year included awarding the first Dafne Scholarship, hosting our second annual tournament, and continuing to grow our men’s and co ed teams on the field. We are looking forward to 2026 and cannot wait to bring the next chapter of Vultures to our community.
Our second annual Vultures Tournament brought together 10 teams for a day of competitive soccer, community, and purpose in support of first generation EOF students. The event raised funds for the Dafne Scholarship at Ramapo College while celebrating both returning champions and first time winners. Thank you to everyone who played, attended, and helped make Tournament 2 a success.
In May, Vultures co founder Julio Sarmiento awarded the first Dafne Scholarship at the Ramapo Scholarship Reception to support first generation EOF students at Ramapo College. The inaugural award was given to social work senior Aaliyah Marte as she prepares to pursue her master’s degree and continue serving her community.
